Studies have shown actually only 8% of people achieve any of their “New Years Resolutions”.

How can you keep and achieve your goal of improving your English this year?
では今年どうやって英語を改善するゴールを達成できるのか？
Here are some practical tips!
実践できる方法はいくつかあります！
1. Set A Goal
1.目標を立てる
Goals are the way we can measure whether we are moving forward or not.
目標は私たちが目標に向かってちゃんと進めているかどうかを計れます。
Without goals in English, your passion may last for January but it won’t last beyond that.
英語での目標がなければ、情熱はもしかしたら１月中まで続くかもしれませんがそれ以上は続きません。
Set some goals for English.
なので是非英語での目標を立ててみてください！
For example, achieve 900 on the TOEIC test.
例えば、TOEICのテストで９００点を取る！
Or get a job at an international company.
外資系の会社で就職する！
Or be able to listen to a podcast or a TV program and understand it.
ポッドキャスト、テレビ番組を聞いて理解する！
などたくさんあります！
2. Set A Time Frame
2.時間を決めて
When will you achieve some of your goals?
いつあなたの目標を達成しますか？
Don’t wait until the end of the year to start.
年末まで待って始めないでください！
Break your English speaking goals into smaller monthly and weekly goals.
英語を話す目標を小さな毎月、毎週の目標に変えてみてください。
For example “I want to study English 1 hr per week”.
例えば、「１週間に１時間英語を勉強する！」
This is much better than trying to do everything at once and getting tired.
一気に勉強をしようとして疲れるよりはこっちの方がマシです！
Study a little every day.
毎日少しずつ勉強をしましょう！
3. Surround Yourself With Like Minded People
3.同じ考え方を持っている人の周りにいる
This could be the most important key to achieving your goals.
これがもしかしたらあなたの目標を達成するために鍵になるかもしれません。
If you want to speak English you need to get around English speakers or other people who want to learn English.
英語を話したければ、英語を話す人たちの周りにいくなり、英語を学びたい人と一緒にいましょう。
That’s why joining a school or community is so great.
なので学校に行ったり、コミュニティーに参加するのはとても良いことなのです。
Everyone is moving in the same direction which keeps you motivated naturally.
同じ方向に向かっていると自然的に自分のモチベーションもアップになります！！
