Hello! My name is Chelsea and I am eager to teach English to students who aspire to improve their speaking, writing and comprehension ability. I’m currently an exchange student at Seijo University, majoring in public relations and minoring in Japanese. I went to University of Wisonsin-Milwaukee on a tennis scholarship, which gave me the amazing opportunity of studying in Japan. I am half Japanese, but only spoke English growing up. When I turned 21 years old, I decided I wanted to study Japanese because I did not want to ignore my Japanese heritage. Learning a foreign language as an adult, I know how to relate to adult students who are doing the same. In America, I was a tutor and tennis instructor for students of all ages and would love to continue! I believe in teaching students in a positive environment and learning through topics that are applicable to their interests.
